P2 cert/getting in touch with Juanito

Post by crowland »

Hi, all,

I'm trying to get in touch with Juanito. I was one of his students in the spring (there were three of us learning together). He sent us off on our P2 inaugural flights in April this year, but we've never actually managed to get the P2 certification stuff through him. I've tried contacting him via email a number of times, but he hasn't responded. Does anyone know how he can be reached?

Also, will not having that certification prevent us from moving on? We don't want to have to pay someone else to test us when we've already paid him for the course and certification.

Thanks for input!

(Hopefully this spring will be a little less busy than the fall and I'll have a chance to get out. I'll be looking for an observer when the warmer weather rolls in!)

Hi Clare,

I don't have any info on Jaunito's contact info. To get your sign-off, you'll have to check with the remaining local PG instructor, Jim Kaplan.

HIs contact info is on the USHPA web site--

http://www.ushpa.aero/instructors_map.asp?state=md

Click on the red balloon.

Same goes for anyone else who has recieved training but has not recieved a rating. You will need your rating to fly all of the sites in the area. And you will need to contact the local Observers to fly these sites.

See--
