Dickey's might be flyable Tuesday. I cannot get to launch before noon however.

Turned out to be a bust. The road was closed at the five mile mark just past the visitors center because of "ice on the road" somewhere south of launch. I hiked to launch along the road and only saw dry pavement. I did not take my gear in but believe it might be doable from the road block. I figure it is a mile and a quarter or half from that point to launch. It would be a kind of long hike in along the trail to launch from the north. Anyway the winds were light but blowing straight in at 3-4 and overcast. Probably would have been a sled run.

Mitch Shipley and maybe Tom M. and I did that hike in from the lower gate at least 3-4 times. Mitch & I also did it with a 1' of snow on the ground.
I tried to talk Steve into going anyway but since there was no sun when we were about to leave we/he whimped out.
