request for club member produced hang gliding videos

Hi everybody,

We have a 20 seat theatre in the recreation facility at our little outpost. I was thinking that a lot of people here might enjoy seeing a hang gliding video. I know Gary Smith and perhaps others have produced some really good ones. If any of you would be willing to send one over here I'd show it on our "bring your own movie night." Write me or reply here and I'll provide the USPS address in a private email.

Also could someone please contact Gary for me? I am not sure he monitors this site and I don't know how to reach him otherwise.

I've made a few short ones at Hyner and Woodstock if you'd like something from a H2 perspective. I'd be happy to send them over to you. Just let me know.

Hey Dan! I've got Gary's HG/PG video, and will get a few duplicates made. Been meaning
to do that for a while, this is a great kick-in-the-pants to get it done. Then I'll send you
a copy....

There are multiple DVD formats out there. If I have the option, I'll see if I can get the
dups made in something that's lowest-common-denominator, likely to play in the greatest
number of players.

I'd love to get a copy of yours as well. I'll send you and Mark my contact info. The DVD player they have here is a JVC XV-N652S and XV-N650B. The instruction sheet says its DVD, CD supervideo HDMI, Windows Media, and DIVX. Most of which means nothing to me, but hopefully addresses the compatability issue.

Hi from Baghdad,

A couple of you offered to send me some local hanggliding videos a few weeks back. The mail runs notorously slow here and I apologize in advance if you've sent them and I didn't recieve them yet. If you haven't sent , I'd sure appreciate it if you would. I have kind of a captive audience of a few hundred people here and I'm sure quite a few of them would like to see something different than the movies they've seen or had a chance to see a dozen times.
