Just heard that an eastbound truck went off of the Bay Bridge and that that span was closed.

Make that a westbound truck.

They've figured that the reason it punched through the Jersey wall so easily was 'cause the steel reinforcement is all corroded. What better time to fix it than Labor Day weekend?

They're predicting that - at best - the traffic situation is gonna be a disaster.

Not quite.
One lane will be closed.
It will still be bad I'm sure, but not closed.
