I was talking to LE the other day, and she indicated that she thought that we might be able to reopen Spring Run, which is a SE site located very close to Pulpit -- it's still indicated on the site map and Sites by Wind Direction pages in the Mid Atlantic Site Guide - but there is no individual page on it. The * indicates it's currently overgrown or not flyable. Apparently it is a long glide ratio for hang gliders, but short for paragliders. This could be a nice replacement for Fisher now that it's been lost.
Anyone have any information on Spring Run and how we might go about doing a reopen? Could it be as simple as doing some clearing and renewing our relationships with the owner(s)?
