Just returned from a week at Bly Sky. Steve Wendt put on his first week long intensive hang gliding camp. We had 5 students in attendence. None from Virginia. They came from all over (Washington state, Indiana, Onterio Canada, and two from northern PA.) We were able to fly all five days, morning and evening with tandems to boot throughout the week. Took some long afternoon breaks after the first two days to give the students a chance to relax and absorb what they were learning. They probably needed a break for us instructors as well

. 1 student injured his hip flexors and stopped scooter towing earlier than the other but continued with tandems. The other 4 were all solid hang 1.5 by Friday. It worked out so well Steve is planning on running another one this fall and possibly another three (spring, summer, and fall) next year. I personally had a wonderful time teaching with Steve and giving the tandem flights. Rich Z. another instructor from Michigan was also assisting with the camp as well.
