Great looking sky both days and a lot of wind from the South. Bunch of guys showed up on Saturday including HG soldiers Mark and Carlos. We all took very rough tows at the peak of day and had flights of varying success. Carlos did pretty good, Mark had an impressive low safe over the airport right after my weak link prematurely released me at 2000'. My nastiest tow yet. I didn't last long in that small, ratty and torn lift. When we were all back on the ground nobody wanted to try again, the tows were too rough and mine had been traumatizing to say the least. The next time I hear Sunny say "Hang on Janni" I'll just pack up and leave. We went for a second flight late in the afternoon, I found a candy cotton thermal that quietly took me to 2900' saving my day. Today the sky looked even better, but with South winds ramping up to 15 mph there was no point in even trying.
