Weekend Flying July 19

Post by eggzkitz »

Winds look light and south... peaking at 7ish around 3-5 pm.

Winds aloft are not surprisingly super duper light.

Instability looks decent. Cloud base would be very high according to the sounding.

But Daniel's has been disappointing on these light days... any optimism out there?

If I go, I'll leave later, probably noon.

And I've got the date right.

UPDATE: Weekend Flying July 19

Post by eggzkitz »

Today is summmarized as weaker south. Best window for wind looks late (5pm) or so.

But tomorrow looks like better overall meteo winds and more SW. So I may hold off and go to Dickey's tomorrow.

Will decide around 1 or so. Anyone else drinking insane amounts of coffee and surfing weather sites this morning?

I am out for today. I went and took my Ham Radio test instead! Hopefully the weather will improve later.

Cheers
