I was still beat from my flight at WS but was motivated enough to pay Ridgely a visit for further tow and landing practice on my glider. Turned out to be quite a good day with Pilots going XC and staying up for long times. I had two midday tows with fin on keel in gnarly conditions. I slowly get a knack of recognizing conditions that can be ignored vs. those that warrant immediate attention. It happened twice that the tug was turning one direction when I was thrown into the other by a thermal, speeding up too quick for comfort. Stayed up after my second tow and climbed with iron man Steve who left the airport to go XC. On my third tow I moved the fin half way towards the hardware and had a beautiful flight in evening glass-off. Stayed in 50ft/min climb for quite some time and enjoyed the evening curtain set as I drew wide circles that got me to 2800'. Great day.
