Solstice flights

Post by Spark »

Last Saturday was a bittersweet day - great for some ... but a tragedy for at least one Sylmar pilot and his family.

Kagel Mtn to 29 Palms (140 miles)

Lookout (Golden) to Boulder and back, top landing.

It was an epic day on the front range. I started out with the Sport2 eariler in the day with a few climbs to 8.5k msl, then flew the PG to 8k, top landed and caught the evening lapse to 9.6k.

Summer is kicking in ... monsoon behavior. T-storms yesterday and today.

King Mtn is just a few weeks away.
