We' can get out of town by 2 on Friday for flying. But where??????

I'm hoping for flyable conditions on Sunday somewhere. Need some airtime, but can't get off early enough tomorrow and Saturday is booked with catering events for the next two weeks.

The mountain outlook for this weekend isn't great (at least for those of us who
never got their SNP permits for 2008), so I'm thinking of taking a half-day off
on Friday.

Some 'casts are calling for a window of WNW 8-9 mph from 1pm to 3pm,
followed by W 8-9 mph from 4pm to 6pm. Then swinging SW.

With a nice sunny day, there might be some straight-in cycles even
during the later afternoon timeframe. And: High Rock is closer; there
are no LZ issues to contend with; it beats happy hour in a bar somewhere!

So.... Anyone else thinking of giving the Rock a shot?

try rather than the bags?

Yeah, I want fly somewhere today, but all I'm seeing is WSW maybe swinging W for a few hours.

I'll be at Ridgely. ETA 6 pm. Gonna camp out and get drunk, hopefully not all by myself, that would be quite sad
