Took a chance on teaching there this past Friday. Forecast had SE winds going S by noon so...it was a real crap shoot. Got an early start ( 8am ) to catch the light to zero winds. At least that was the plan.
What actually happened was we got NE winds !! Straight up for about 3 hours !!! Perfect conditions. You could not have asked for better. Smooth, 4-6 straight in. Got 6 flights in from the top before things got a bit cross by 11am. I have no idea how that happened other than a good mo-jo rising. LOL. But....we took full advantage of it and didn't ask questions.
MHGA Secretary ( Kayla C. ) is progressing well towards her H-2. Working on linked turns, prone, etc. and spot landings.
* Site still free of fencing and other related BS. Not sure how long that will last though. Always call ahead M-F before 2pm. to see whats up and what isn't.
