Flying 5/24-25

I am not going to Hyner this weekend (even though it will probably be good), so I am local and interested in flying either or both days. Will check the conditions Saturday morning. Please post if you are going flying and where.

I'm planning on going on Sunday too. I drove out to Woodstock yesterday and had transmission problems after I turned off at Tom's brook. I took a ride to the top but decided to nurse the truck home and get it in the shop so I didn't fly. I didn't have much trouble getting the truck home and into the shop so in hind sight I probably should have stayed and taken advantage of the opportunity to learn a few things from Kevin. A missed opportunity for sure.

I'll be driving my wife's pickup and renting the Sport 2 on Sunday. The shop owner promised he'd have the truck fixed before next weekend. I sure hope he's right.

Was considering Woodstock for today, but looks light and Northerly so would be quite a crap shoot so decided not to try it. Will probably be going to Ridgely tomorrow (Sunday) since the forecast looks good for flying there.
