"Our hang gliding community, like other facets of aviation (and life) must learn and adapt if deaths are to be avoided in the future. I feel saddened and frustrated when facts and physics prove change is needed, then the solutions that are offered are rejected."

"I can't find the negative." "What about the positive?" "I'm positive about the negative, but a little negative about the positive." "Oh, negative eh?" "No, I'm positive the negative is in the developer." "Your brains need developing!"

Ok, at least pretend you have a sense of humor. I thought it was funny, and DON'T badmouth the Three Stooges. They are the only thing that separates us from Women!

OK, Chris. Maybe I misinterpreted the intent.
And, yes, apologies to The Three Stooges. I don't think I've seen them since I was a kid but I still get a few laughs out of faded memories. Apologies to Lucy too.
But as soon as I recover from the first round I need to get back on and raise some more issues with respect to the basetube/downtubes belly/feet thing 'cause our recent and long term safety records suck.
We've currently got two guys out of action because of it and CHGA had a guy who was killed trying to learn to land on his feet - and there was no good reason he needed to do that.
It'll probably never happen but I'd just like to have a rational discussion without the usual torrent of attacks and counters.
Correction: Bill Floyd - not Finn.
