I haver a friend who owns a flying saucer house here in Virginia, down on Aquia Creek near Stafford. If the Tennessee house is the same design, it is essentially an efficiency apartment - all one big circular room. Great for a weekend get away home for a small famliy, but not B&B size.

BTW, the Aquia place is a factory built pre-fab, which was trucked onto the property and craned onto the foundation. My friend told me it caused quite a stir when on the truck on I-95.

Photo & Details of Signal Mt Saucer

Post by CraginS »

The house in TN is larger than I assumed.
Photo and description on Yahoo!
This 'flying saucer' house, pictured on the side of Signal Mountain in Chattanooga, Tenn., Tuesday, March 11, 2008, will go up for auction on Saturday. The buyer needs a fascination for outer space, tolerance for gawkers and at least $100,000. Built by the late Curtis W. King in 1970, the circular house has multiple levels, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an entrance staircase that lowers and retracts with the push of a button.
