I flew my Sport2 at Lookout (Golden CO) for the first time since last November, following BJ our club prez who is flying a Falcon 225 while he waits for his new Sport2 to arrive. I thought I would sink out, but caught one low, climbing to 9500 'msl (2500 above launch). After flying around for awhile I made my first HG top landing, on the spine just to the right of the "M" in this photo (taken last summer).

I'll may try some XC after I have checked out the route and the LZs. The Sport2 is a good choice for this site - we hike our gliders up to launch, and land in a semi-restricted LZ (the bottom of the photo)

BJ made it to 3k+ over and flew to Boulder with 4 PGs, then almost made it all the way back to launch ... pretty impresive on a Falcon I 225. One PG pilot made it all the way back and top-landed.
After I flew the Sport2, I flew my PG for awhile, climbing to 1500 over and eventually top landed it, then headed home. I left home at noon and was home by 4:30pm. The drive from launch to my place is just less than 20 minutes.

For the interested, here is a link to some pics and flight stats posted by a few local pilots
