? Taylor Sunday 3/2?

Post by CraginS »

It is looking like mostly light & variable this afternoon, but the winds in 1-3 MPH, swinging SW by 1:00 or 2:00.
Anyone else want to run up and down the hill at Taylor today?

I just heard from John M - he will be teaching today at Taylor. I will join him, and probably Dan T, also.

Was mostly NW at first until 12:00 or so then became L&V with the wind varying quite a bit in direction. We got doable conditions off and on during the day so everyone got a fair number of flights in. Cragin and Dan both did a couple of flights each, I did 4 and my 5 students got 6 - 8 flights each. A beautiful day there though I thought the wind would have been more co-operative then it was.

Taylor Sunday 3/2 Report

Post by CraginS »

Unlike some other locations, it didn't suck. The light winds were swinging all around the compass, but we had usable launch windows. I got in three flights; Dan T did two. Fun time visiting with John's students.

Hop over to my blog for a few more details, including new video (yes, with music), and a beer report.
