Is it possible to have the latest post be on top. Instead having to scroll to the bottom to see the latest? some threads get really long and knotted, LOL... :D Just a suggestion.

Hi Gene!

Yeah, this is easy to do.... Login to the forums, and click
on the 'User Control Panel' link at the forum homepage.

When the next screen comes up, click 'Board Preferences'
in the Options panel, and then 'Edit Display Options'.

On the resulting screen, you'll be able to set the
'Display topic order direction' setting to 'Descending'.

And with that change, posts will be from most recent
to oldest.

BUT! The caveat is that you have to be logged into the
forums for your personal settings to take affect.

So you might want to consider using the "Log me in automatically'
link, which will set up a CHGPA forum 'cookie' on your computer,
so that you will be logged in automatically each time you visit
the forums.

Clear as crystal? Or clear as mud?

Sweeeeeeet. Crystal clear. I didn't know that we had control. I am just a lemming in the email world. Plus this makes my 100th post :D
Thanks for the information on such a simple desire. It has made me proactive on my email accounts with other services.

Oh, I forgot: Even when you are *not* logged in, you can always sort the posts within a topic
via the drop-down menus at the bottom of a page of topic posts. Just "Sort by",
"Post time", "Descending", and then hit "Go" .

The posts in the topic will then be re-displayed in your preferred order.

Cheers,

MarkC
