Woodstock Sunday

Post by Matthew »

Our flight was almost an hour late leaving Orlando Sat night. We ran into Kevin Carter at the gate area. He was doing standby but didn't make the flight. It was great to see him.

Anyway, won't be getting to WS till at least 1:30pm. Ugh! It's almost 2:00am as I'm writing this. If you're looking for an Observer, be forewarned. I'll probably want to fly first if it's nasty spring air mid-day and then launch hang 2s later around 5:00-- still plenty of time to soar. Sunset isn't till almost 8:00pm.

We were really hoping that Kevin could have gotten on our flight from Florida. Then we could have said that we matched him in altitude, duration and distance!
