Not too exciting of a drive, just down I-81 then over the mountain at Harrisonburg.
Arrived as things were getting real nice. set-up as quickly as possible, and had Rhonda help with launching.
Good Launch , and left turn out. Gained 250 over within the first 5 minutes. that was only the beginging. joined by two eagles
one close, and the other in and out... Gained a total altitude of 7800' AGL stayed local there since I didn't know the roads to give directions for retrieval.
2:52 mins airtime, with a bit of over cast skies.. Not too cold with the new bar mits
Packed up about noon, and made it back to woodstock for the Valentines day fest at North mountain winery... great food and people...
such a great time that I just had too share it with you all......
Too bad though, The only thing we really accomplished was the winery trip.....
It's been a while, and thought a story would get everyone going.....
