I was down at the pub the other night to watch a replay of the New Zealand Airgames on the big screen... they had a bunch of guys competing doing this. Over at one of the flying sites here, when it's really windy, they do it without the skis (no snow at the moment).

The airgames was pretty spectacular.
Here's some footage the organizers put together...

Hopefully in time more of it will become available. They did live camera feeds from the competing gliders along with realtime tracking displayed SeeYou style on the big screen. I was there for the replay, but during the event, it was all live. Pretty amazing stuff.

From the video, it looked to be quite a bit smaller than a regular sky diviing rig ... judging by the guy in front and the shadow. But what do I know ... as I understand it, sky diving rigs are getting very small. It looks to be about the same size as my 6 meter traction kit.
