Temp above 40, thanks to a Pacific airmass traversing across the nation's midsection. Winds should be manageable and not too light.

Pulpit forecast
Any plans regarding flying the Pulpit tomorrow? It's looking a bit light in the morning but good NW breeze by late afternoon. Do any of you pilots think it would be possible for a beginner to stay up in NW 7-8?

Mine is certainly not the final answer, but I'd say it's gonna be a right cross and Pulpit, which isn't the kind of cross we want there. I'm thinking it's either a sledder day at High Rock or Woodstock. More sun at Woodstock, so maybe a better chance of getting up.
Or a training hill day at Smithsburg.

Would love to fly because we'll be skiing the next two weekends. However, it looks cold and L&V. Could work at the Pulpit. But high is forecast as 37 for McC-burg, which means a high of 34 at launch... which means below freezing most of the day. Too cold to go all tha way out there for a sled. As to S-burg-- looks too light-- probably good no wind day. I'd rather wait for a windier day so as to do some HG flying and PG kiting and flying.
