Hi All,
I will soon be writing the annual magazine article summing up Region Nine's cross-country flying of 2007.
Therefore, would those of you who went XC this past year please send me your single longest, straight line flight. That flight may begin at a remote start point, and should be measured in a straight line to your landing field. No doglegs/out'n'returns, etc are allowed.
The information I need is a date, site, name, glider, distance. If you have an .igc tracklog, please send that as well. In addition, any pictures and comments about your flights would be welcome.
Finally, this call goes out to hang glider, paraglider and rigid wing pilots. If you went anywhere, send me your flights. And if you know someone else who had a decent flight, spur them into submitting their flight.
Thanks,
Pete
