OK, I can live in the cheap seats for a while. The "hook-in failures" is a hang gliding thread is a hang gliding topic and really belongs here but yonder no moderator needs be bogged down.

I've connected the jumper cables to the electrodes protruding from its neck (red to red and black to black - in that order) and may have a pulse.

This topic will serve as notification that either I've posted or read something which may be of interest. The above link should take you to the topic and may be of use to folk (like myself) not in the habit of checking the other fora.

I'll save the bandwidth and just use a little:

as an indicator. Others may do the same.

The topic is currently on Page 3 and this link:

http://www.chgpa.org/forums/viewtopic.p ... 9&start=50

will take you there a little faster. I'll amend if/when necessary.

Nothing terribly earth shattering as of yet but be patient. I'm going somewhere with this.

I'm quite sure that much of the reaction to the proposal I'm going to make will be

THAT'S IT?!?!!!

but the more I think about it the more I like it.

WHAT?!

A thread just to let us mortals know that you've deemed something worthy of attention?

Man, peyote must be good stuff!

Ah... I get it now... you can't get a moderator to make a "sticky" tread, so you're trying to force one on us.

I always liked the spice mined on planet Arakis. Until that big worm came along, anyway.
