5+ hours of warming on one charge. Well, I'm sure that's overly optimistic, but heck it should do well for a 2 hour flight.
One could velcro it to the harness, so it won't fall off at launch or landing.
About cold feet: just do a spiral dive and that should rush all the blood into your feet just fine...
Btw, the cozywinters site also has vests, pants(!!!) and other expensive battery driven bodywarmers, also toe warmers. The toe warmers are a heck of a lot more expensive than what Matthew posted, but they are rechargeable, last longer and have different heat settings. (good candidates for your xmas list?)
