I'll need to get it worked out in the "field." I keep my risers connected to the harness, so some sort of modification in technique will be necessary.

My variation involves laying out a lightweight HG XC bag under the wing, and perpendicular to the span.
I cut the XC bag to 12' long with one end open. After I gather the mylar, I zip the bag from the trailing edge forward whilst folding the enclosed wing into quarters as I push the air out the leading edge cells. The bag keeps the mylar aligned and serves as a place to stow the lines.
Another 'hang'-over from the past ... I am flying with a thermal snooper in my pg instrument cockpit. It's an '80s retro-thang.
You should be able to use unclip your riser use the fast walk around and pull technique and re-clip the riser to your harness and then do the same thing on the other side and end up with the glider attached properly. I'll give it a try.
