Sport II maiden flight

Post by Spark »

The weather finally cooperated and let me fly the new Sport II 155 at Lookout today. What a sweet-launching-flying-landing wing. I launched at about 1;30pm managed to get about 1500 over and just under an hour sniffing coors in the thermals, then snagged a ride back up and flew the PG for another hour and top landed.

This is glider number 37. The last time I bought one new was 1979 (a UP Mosquito 166). This one flys much better

Nice Glider,
They are so relaxing to fly. I think next year, after 3 years on a Falcon Heather will be flying one. I wish I was the same size and could fly it too!

Have Fun and Take Care Sparky!
