A perfect day at Daniels. Wind was coming directly into launch at 8-10. Lots or ridge and thermal activity to be had by those who would either be skilled or lucky.
Paragliders included me, Laszlo, Juanito, Tom, Jim K., Carl, Ellis, Ken (?), Tim, and Noah, plus a couple of others (names aren't my strongpoint). Juanito tandemed with his student.
Randy was the lone hang glider.
Extendos by all!

Monday wasn't bad either. I was getting about 1k over in a hg late in the afternoon -- 5:30. (didn't get there until late) Coming in at about 10 - 15 at launch. It sounded and looked much stronger (very intimidating even for hg) but I measured it. Ended up removing my hearing aids -- that helped. It blew about that until it died in the space of 20 minutes. I dunno it you could have made it off in a pg. Had hoped I might be able to get off in the pg after flying the hg. But by the time I got back up it was dark, catabatic and I left my helmet in the LZ in my hg harness. Oh well.
