It's more likely to have snow here in Florida than it is to have Bruce post. Dan said he would (he warned he embellishes) but he hasn't gotten around to it either, so I decided to do it --and I NEVER NEVER embellish because I have no need because I always fly at least 4 hours and a few hundred miles:).
The boys brought decent weather with them and we've been rain free for a couple of days -- for the first time in weeks. The temperature is still up in the 90s but the mornings are a little cooler at this time of year.
Bruce had great flights both days on his T2, and great landings too. He flew up to the turnpike and back yesterday. Paul is getting his new Combat broken in (not BROKEN) and flew maybe an hour yesterday. The day before he flew the Mark 4 in the day and had his first flight on the new ship in the evening. Dan's had a couple of decent flights each day, too. I feel back in tune after a few flights on my Pulse; golly gee, I can still fly! It's always funny how much difference there is in performance on a lower level glider -- I sure can't stay up like I can in the Litespeed, but it's an awfully stress free glider when I'm not very current. I never liked that big Falcon I had -- it was such a truck for me -- but the Pulse is going to be with me until it rots.
I gotta go. We are talking about flying to Wallaby today but I hate to take the LS XC on my first flight on it for awhile, and I fear I may land 2 miles down the road if I fly my Pulse.
We are having much fun and eating fabulous food every night with our wonderful guests.
