HR still looks good...

Post by Danny Brotto »

NOAA forecasts NNW at 7 up to 3 pm, N, at 4 pm, and NNE after that till sundown. Big temperature spread between the high and the dew point. Thermals should abound and go high, HR should work well.

Also calling for SE but light in the Hagerstown valley for Sunday... you'll have to check the Mifflin area forecast for Jacks.

Flight Report from Jacks on 9/30

Post by XCanytime »

Take Two- I posted a report but it didn't post so this is
shortend...Launched with Mark after a steady 10 to 12 the "fly now
wind" teased us to hurry but it died as soon as I hooked in...I had a
sledder (fighter) Mark got above briefly added ten more than me and
Dennis Launcheed later and caught the returing winds and around 5:00 it
was wondered and solid...He got over an hour maintaining around 800' at
times... Way to go Bacil on calling it nearly a week ago!
Dave
Mark and I discussed the ox roast and how a covered dish deal might
work... Does anybody have a grill and a truck to haul it and be able to
cook some burgers and dogs? That with covered dishes and a keg sounds
like an event....One idea for the Ox Roast...

Was that Dennis Pagen? I hope so...there were fears that he wouldn't be flying again for a long time if at all after his shoulder injury.

also matthew...ssw isn't far from sse. I sometimes poke fun at the Bacilcast, but with it being north on saturday, calling it this close is not too shabby.

Probably not Dennis Pagen--he's still on the mend.
