I really like the idea of an electric tow system. Without the engine noise it will be much nicer.

Hey Jim, how long will the batterires will last without a charge ?

Can't tell yet.
We're optomistic though... Golf carts run for long periods. We go for short bursts. Knock on wood, but I don't expect issues.
Yeah, the quiet is nice, but that's just gravy.
The lack of powerband and absolutely instant and consistent torque are what I like.
I'm just happy to have something too teach with.

Jim's article was cool, then i scrolled down to the article about visiting the wills wing factory. They don't cast their parts like corner brackets...they mill them out of solid chunks of aluminum to assure structural integrity.

Whew. Last time I complain about the cost of an aluminum widget.

Jim's article (and photos) in the OZ report was excellent. I found myself wishing I was there so I could play with the new tow system. Jim, if you haven't already done this, you should send all this in to the USHPA magazine.
