Ya'll should have stayed at the Pulpit on Sunday. Despite the North cross, it was quite soarable most of the day. Got 17 minutes and 600 over launch on first flight. Maxed out at 2700 over launch and 1:18 on second flight. And topped out at 3K over launch on my third flight for 53 minutes. All flights in my PG. Charlie, from NYC, got about 3700 over and almost 90 minutes in his topless HG. Mark and Alek got above launch in HGs. Ellis also got above launch in her PG. Ben had a couple of extendos in his PG. LE took a couple of PG flights. And Aaron had his first PG flight at the Pulpit.
Great day! Got almost 2.5 hrs airtime in the PG.
Got about the same in my HG on Saturday at Woodstock. 2:25 at 3700 over launch. Had to leave early to deliver food for the Fly-In. Thus I needed to return to the LZ. Flew up to Signal Knob, down most of the way to the gap and then screwed around at launch for a while. Could've stayed up till sunset. Karen got 1:15 and every HG pilot flew and soared--a handful made the trip down to H-burg.
Great time at the party on Saturday night. You missed a lot of fun if you didn't make it.
Hope the High Rock Fly-In is as much fun.

I flew saturday evening around 6:45 at the Pulpit. Maybe 15-20mins before the sun started setting. That was quite some view at sunset..... Man!.. Thanks to Mike Lee for helping me stuff battens and getting me off launch safely. I understand Mike had his hands full at Woodstock helping pilots off as well. Thanks Man. Thanks also to George Janni and Rusty on wires. I had a great time at the party saturday night with everyone.
I would also like to thank the club for the service award. I didn't see that coming at all! Wow, I was actually speechless for a moment! That's nice of you all.
Feels like fall coming!
Peace, Shawn.
