[I'm cross-posting this thread in the PG forum to make sure that
all PG pilots know about this year's Pulpit Fly-In on Sept 15 & 16.
If you can attend this year, post a reply here and let us know. You'll
be considered 'pre-registered', which gets you a bunch of raffle
tickets and a price-break on the registration fee.
For general info about the Fly-In (eg, the prizes that will be available
at the raffle!), see this forum topic:

Come on out, fly, and enjoy a great party! --MarkC ]
Pre-registering now will save you money and will give us an idea of how many visitors
we can expect to cater for.
Pre-registering is easy. You can either send me an E-mail indicating the events in which
you wish to participate and what type of wing you fly. Or you post here. Fees are as follows:

Hi Gigi,
Unfortunately, as I mentioned in my reply to your other forum thread:
http://chgpa.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=12100#12100
I'm afraid that there will not be any HG or PG tandem instructors
at this year's Pulpit Fly-In. At least that we know of.
But I *do* hope that this will not prevent you from attending.
Last I heard, there are at least 10 PG pilots registered for the
event, so it would be a great opportunity for you to meet area
pilots and get some good advice about instructors and flying
sites.
And the Sat night party, raffle, bonfire, etc is going to be a total
blast, I think you'd have fun.
Cheers,
MarkC

Kirchner's Knob Option
The weather is shaping up a little better for Saturday. NW winds-- might be a little West early. Thus, if anyone wants to shake off the rust in either a hang glider or paraglider, they can head up to the Kirchner's Knob training hill to do some flights. It faces NW and also has a West slope. It's only 25 minutes from the Pulpit. Bring your windsock!!!!!

I heard from Janni yesterday that he's got over 40 pilots who
are pre-registered ("Count me in, I'll be there") for this year's
Fly-In. Of those, there are at least 10 PG pilots, and a bunch of
biwingual HG+PG pilots.
Just thought you'd like to know that this year's event is shaping
up to be truly HG + PG
