I'd love to go, but have recently been given a class to teach and need the time to prepare. I'll be going locally to the Ellenville fly-in, just for one overnight.

Have fun...should be a nice camping temperature.

Marney and I had a fun time at Hyner and other sites. The weather was incredibly nice. We got there on Thursday afternoon as a storm was approaching. Got to do a nice PG extended sled around 7:00 PM after the storms had passed. On Friday it was pretty Northerly so flew at Kennedy with some others getting a nice 1:20 flight. Saturday did a couple PG flights (sleds) and a nice 20 min soaring HG flight (Krichten had the FOD and I was probably 2nd). On Sunday it was Southerly so a few of us flew at the SuperBowl and I had a nice 40 min flight. We drove home that evening. I am wondering how it turned out at Hyner Sunday after we left.

I arrived Saturday morning and had a nice sled ride in the evening. Then another on Sunday and Monday to really focus on my launch, approach and landing skills. I left Monday afternoon and I think some folks were still on top waiting for better conditions. I really had a blast there. It was nice to see some familiar faces and meet new folks. Everyone was incredibly helpful! Thanks everyone!
