Pre-registering now will save you money and will give us an idea of how many visitors we can expect to cater for. Pre-registering is easy. You can either send me an E-mail indicating the events in which you wish to participate and what type of wing you fly. Or you post here. Fees are as follows:

------------------------------

Hi Janni,

Count me in as pre-registered + dinner + beer = $35

Thanks for organizing things this year!

MarkC

PS: Janni will need volunteers, and there are many tasks
that are easy to do, eg:

- firewood
- bring a grill
- help with the cookout
- selling raffle tickets
- bring a side-dish
- get the keg
- you get the idea

Send Janni a PM or email and let him know how you can
help make this year's Fly-In one to remember :)

I'm in for the $35 package.

Hmmm.. I guess when people show up on Saturday morning, Janni will ask each of us how big our package is. Oh, wait, that's not right. He's recruiting a registration table team to do that.

Hi, Ltl Slugger. Cool that you can make it! (Sadly, I'll be out of town)

Thank goodness for SMALL mercies.

You've been there and probably know better, but I think it would be a tough job with a hammer drill. I'd say the jack is a better choice.

I say hell yeah, but I'm not on the board anymore. I've asked Matthew to give you a call.

Best,
Daniel

P.S. Janni I'm in for the $35 package.

Newbie question

Post by Gigi »

Hi
Is there any tandem flying opportunity at this event? Any instructors?

I haven't flown for years and want to check this out - also need a lil dose of flying if possible.

I want to come with a friend if someone can clue me in. Thanks
Gigi

Hey Gigi,

Sadly no, there won't be any opportunities for tandem flights
at the Pulpit Fly-In. The number of foot-launch tandem-rated
pilots in these parts is pretty low...

But I hope that fact alone won't discourage you from attending.
The raffle is a lot of fun, and there will be some great prizes up
for grabs. And the Sat night party is always a blast. Plus you'll
be able to meet lots of fellow aviation-minded addicts! 8)
I think you'd have a really good time.

Cheers,

Mark

PS: From your email address it seems like you might be a PG pilot?
If so, you might want to get in touch with Dwayne McCourt about
getting back into the air: http://www.flywv.com/

Pulpit Fly In Training Hill

Post by Dan T »

Gigi, there is a training hill nearby that might provide you a chance to scrape off the rust some.

I'll be there and pay up for the year's club fees as well as the fly in then.

I'm staying in Greencastle for about $50.00.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Not sure if it's now past some deadline to pre-register, but if not, I will be there. At least two other pilots, Bertrand D. and Charles A., from NY are coming as well.

Also, i will be with two non-flying friends, Floris and Brett. Brett (http://www.amtrekker.com and http://thephoenix.com/article_ektid47319.aspx) is a self-proclaimed unemployed vagrant traveling the country until he crosses everything off his list.
