Greetings!

Post by Gliderpilot »

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I am a returning PG pilot (I haven't flown much in the past three years). I primarily fly sailplanes and spam cans (Cessnas), but am looking at getting back into my PG.

If anyone is interested in flying in a sailplane, let me know.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Yes, I am VERY interested in sailplanes. I have a private ticket for airplanes and sport pilot for weight-shift control (trikes) and fly hang-gliders and paragliders (H4/P2). My trike is hangared at Front Royal and I am interested in the sailplane operation there. Where do you fly? Could possibly do a ride exchange: early or late day in the trike which doesn't like thermally times, middle of the day sailplane. I would like to do a sailplane private - it's just a matter of concentration with distractions from all the other flying toys. Anyway, welcome to the forum and minimalist flying. Let's talk. The active PG pilots generally do their coordination via direct e-mail and phone so I can put you in touch with the group.

I forgot to say I will be traveling a lot for the next 5 weeks, but there will be at least one weekend free... - Hugh
