Daniels was OK on Saturday... Showed up around 2:30 and a bunch of folks had just taken extendos (Ben, Jim, Stephan) and we loaded up in Carl's truck and went back up only to find it was a bit intimidating. Big OD clouds were becoming more present and the wind coming through launch was straight but strong. After waiting a while it started to look sunnier and launchable, proven by Noah heading out around 3:00 or so. Jim and I followed and found nice ridge lift taking us to about 1000 over launch easily. Ben, Stephan and Thomas also followed and the six of us boated around for a while until it started to pick up again and we were worried about penetration, so we headed to the LZ and landed around 4 or so. The evening seemed to mellow out nicely, not sure who stuck around to fly again, but it may have been a nice late evening flight.
