First to forecast as usual.... probably going to make a later showing this week... can't leave town until about 11 or 12.... hope you are right. Last weekend Matthew launched at 3 and flew 21 miles!

Timing

Looks like it's switching from W to SW in the AM. We'll see. The timing is suspect.

By the afternoon on Saturday it is definitely SW looking but nice and transitioning to unstable. Probably not a redux... Damn. Sunday is more West but also higher chance of showers. Daniels may be the call for Saturday.... but my Prius doesn't like that place.

Now Daniels

Looking good at Daniels after 4PM. I'm interested. Should be a ride up the hill with someone for you.

Yep.... looking pretty light and SW by the afternoon, but the heating should be good and the air mass is in transition to less stable, so agree that 4 pm may be the call... which works well since i can't leave DC until noonish. I'll probably shoot to get there around 2 or so. I may have a driver with me, but i'll be in my prius... so a ride would be appreciated.

By the way, does Daniels offer any XC potential downwind toward the NE? With a driver, I may be tempted...

Ya, talk to Tom C and Juanito - they have it all planned out for getting to Sperryville. - Hugh
