Ok. a ittle late with the post but a truly great day. 6k bases, streets going as far as the eye could see (pointed right to OC) and solid 4-5. John Simon reported sustained 8. Nobody went anywhere. Time constraints and logistics. Maybe I shoulda just gone and called Janice and Hannah when I got to the beach. smiley face.

Call Janice

I am going to put her number in my speed dial... Ouch. Incredible day out on the Eastern shore... many miles were left on the table because Janice and Hannah did not show up. Really though, it was awesome. 850 fpm on my averager and some sustained 700-800 fpm for a couple minutes. Plenty of 500+ and big, wide comfy smooth thermals. I drove upwind about 6 miles to see how it would be (easy, but cold)... downwind would have been amazing. I cored sink for the first time to get lower and warmer.

We all landed on purpose because of the cold up there. Later Heather did some landing practice and Tim flew the Target. Sunny had a student for a second or third tandem and a gorgeous sunset. Big fun.
