Fabulous, Fireworks, Food, Flying, Fun, Family, and Friends.

Micky's is located 6 miles West of Harman WV on Route 33 to Elkins, WV, There is a blue farm gate on the right just before the hill. There will be some streamers on a stick beside the gate.

The dinner on Saturday night is pot luck so bring a covered dish. There will be music around the campfire so bring any instrument.

Ben and I will be heading out to West Virginia tonight. Some other people will also be going out there. Camping is available at Micky's tonight as well as through the weekend. There are also other alternatives in Canaan and Elkins for accommodations.

Great flying Saturday with great food, fun, live music, company and fireworks Saturday night. Sunday was cross and too windy, so no flying. Saturday everyone had several good flights, with more than half flying from the launch to the picnic area at the end of the day (mini cross country). Flying were Mickey, L.E., Ben, Stephan, Carl, Jim, Mason, Noah, and a couple of others whose names escape me at the moment (sorry!). I also brought my wife Natalie and 6-year old Zane, who both had a great time camping, hiking, geocaching, and just hanging out. Others had spouses/families as well.
Put this on your calendars for next year. This is an annual 4th of July event that is just a lot of fun in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. This was my families second year, and we'll definitely be back.
