Dr. Jack calls for a fabulous day on the eastern shore on Monday. Light winds out of the north, 600 ft lift to 6K, and CU. It will be hot on the ground but cool at CB (~62 F.)
Come out and play!

Highland Monday PIREP...
Arrived at Ridgley to find Shelia Gardner and sister Michelle and friend Rosemary in the midst of an episode of “Chick’s Lost Weekend”. Michelle was being reacquainted with hang gliding while Rosemary was being introduced, both via tandems. Seems like they left the boys home for the extended weekend as they romped and stomped.
Bunkhouse, encamped for the week, and I flew a couple of flights and Rich Bloomfield showed up for a drive. Bob and my first flights at ~ 1 pm yielded a thermal or 2 to 1300 ft in broken lift. Bob had another but sinky flight in the mid-afternoon. Rich took a flight and twisted for a bit. I had a decent 2nd flight gaining 1200 ft in widespread lift near Greensboro but the haze at altitude made visibility difficult; not to my liking. Scouted out the area looking for another bubble but was on the ground after a still-air float to terra-firma.
Dr Jack called 600 ft/min to 6000. I got 300 ft/min to 3200 so I guess it wasn’t half bad
.
Big frontal passage mid-week; the sailplane guys are staging for a record attempt out of Mifflin.
