I see a front coming though today. Anyone bothered by that?

The front is the reason why I'm going. 10-15 mph W, goood!!! Loading now and should be on my way in 15 min. Glen and some guy called Dennis Sheely are allready there.

Dennis, Glen and Rusty showed up. After the front was through the sky broke open at 1pm, leaving nothing but beautiful cumis behind. It was blowing good, a solid 15 mph WNW most of the time. I launched first and was again surprised how much wind the Pulpit can take and still be great at sucking. I was struggling to maintain, let alone get above the ridge. Things got better when I remembered to make my turns in lift, 500 foot above launch I knew I was in for my best Pulpit flight yet. Got to 3,500' over several times and flew for 2 hours. Thermals were fat, gentle and abundant. Some nasty sink cycels, though. Dennis launched after me, he climbed well, went over the back and landed some 20 miles SE of the ridge. Rusty retrieved him. Glen also had a good soaring flight of 45 min or so considering his fewer options on that big Falcon. Many thanks to Rusty for helping us launch. Looking forward to flying with him.
