Seriously north -- even NE -- but with lots of thermal activity as expected. Bruce went first did ok for a while and then got really really low. But he got back up. Yea Bruce!! Always cool to watch a low save. Very trashy rotary air low. Lots of work and you didn't dare slow down. Once up a ways it got better. I hit 3850 over where I regretted leaving my gloves in the car. Juan showed up and flew his brand new comp paraglider. He mostly managed to keep it inflated but it looked pretty hairy to me. Didn't seem to bother him.
