I had another flight at Lookout on Thursday afternoon. This time I launched an hour later and found some smooth evening air with plenty of lift. There were about 4 other PG pilots in the air, and two HG pilots.
I was able to stay about 500 over for most of the flight and landed in the LZ after a bit more than a half an hour. A few local pilots were in the LZ and I was lucky enough to catch a ride back up top. Most of the PG pilots were able to top land. I'm not ready for that challenge yet.
The weather is about to go sour for a few days, so I am happy to have had two good flight days in a row. I am stuck in Denver for the next week and I'm sorry I won't be there to join those who are headed to Bills Hill on Saturday. I hope y'all enjoy it.
Safe flights to all...
