Kite Festival Report

It was along day on the Mall, but a lot of fun. I got most of the gear down there about 7:30. Just to add to the fun, there was no parking on Constitution Avenue because of the Epilepsy Walk. Batman showed up with the Bat Kite about 8, hollering obscenities at me because he could not figure how to unload.
Overall, pretty good turnout from the club. Here are all the names I recall as being down under the kite-filled sky:

OK, the long-winded version of my festival report is now on my Flight(b)Log, link below. The embedded photos and video all work there. Check it out.

It looks like the embedded photos did not work on that last post.

The images look fine to me, provided I'm logged in via my CHGPA
forum account. If I'm not, then the HTML links for the images are
shown rather than the images themselves.

If that's not true for you too Craig, send me a PM.

It might be that using "bbcode" image tags (with square brackets)
rather than html tags (with angle brackets) would get around this
behavior.

Or, it might be a 'feature' of the forum software that images are not
displayed unless you are actually logged in.

PS: For image posts to the forum, consider using smallish thumbnails
that link to larger images (at PhotoBucket, WebShots, wherever).

PPS: Or, consider posting some selected images in the CHGPA
photo Gallery:

All you have to do is login to the forums first, then you'll have perms
to upload photos.
