Wed or Thurs training/de-rusting day? (3/21 or 22)

Post by jeffabra »

After watching the flying at Woodstock on Sunday, I'm even more interested in getting in a few flights at a training hill to get the rust off my flying skills. Anyone interested in a de-rusting day on Wed or Thursday this week?

I'm open to suggestions for place and time. (Would you also be willing to show me the site... I'm still new in town :-)

Tomorrow's lookin better for a trip to the training hill in Smithsburg and maybe a jump off High Rock if we can coerce another pilot or two. I live
in Rockville, MD. Give me a call if you can switch days!

Is SB covered in snow? I could make a drive up. But I am wondering what the condition is on the hill. I have off Tues_Thurs, was going to work on the yard or try Manquin if Steve is towing.

Maybe at Taylors on Thursday. I will check the post again later today. Looks like a chance of light rain tonight. I am off Thursday and need to get out.

Gene-

Sounds great... don't know where Taylors is, but willing to try it. Just sent you a private message.
