Re: Ground handling locations in Reston area
Tuesday is looking good for kiting. I'll probably head over there after work.
Thursday may work too.

Re: Ground handling locations in Reston area
Jim, That would be great if we can kite at wolf trap since that is closer to where I live (Vienna/Tysons Corner area). Each time I've been there it has been S, SSW, or SSE which work well. N should also work. I'm probably going to head over after work on Thursday which is calling for NNW and see how it is. The field is only 500 ft wide with tall trees on the E and W sides, so E and W probably won't work that well. M...

Re: Ground handling locations in Reston area
I had been looking for a place to kite for a while. I checked out Manassas Battlefield park a couple weeks ago. Also, http://chgpa.org/forums/feed.php?f=2 works as well if you only want the "Flight-Related Topics" posts.

Re: OT: ATOM Feeds : Working for anyone?
The ATOM feed works fine on the RSS reader app on my phone.
I'm using http://chgpa.org/forums/feed.php as the URL if that helps.

Re: Hang glider crash in Peters Township, Franklin Co?
The second article says it was a 25 year old PG pilot. I trained with a guy last fall about that age who was mentioning launching from gas pipeline cuts in that area:

Hope it wasn't him, and whoever it was is alright.
