Re: Dickey's Ridge action
Awesome, I'd love to watch a HG or PG pilot take off from skyline or hogback. Shame the people that own most of the land within the valley are unaccommodating to PG/HG activity.

I'm definitely not rich, but as of now I can pay for the lessons to prepare me for first high solo flights. What time of flying is there? I know of cross country, sand Gooning(I believe it...

Howng long to achieve h2 , h3 ratings??
Hello everyone, parts of spring but mainly summer I will be working on my hang glidin ratings. I was wondering how long to exspect, perhaps on average, a idea how long everyone had to work on their h2 and h3 ratings. I plan on spending any weekend I can during the summer learning at blue sky. I want...

Re: Hogback skyline hang gliders?
For what it's worth; I think the VA Recreational Land Use Statute protects land owners as long as they don't charge a fee. I'm not sure how it changes with a fee, but without one, the statute protects land owners from liability, and holds land users responsible for damages to the owners property (c...

Re: Hogback skyline hang gliders?
The landing area used to be directly below launch until some folks from D.C. bought the property and excluded us from landing there...Then we had a landing field fairly far out from launch forget the name of the family but our landing rights as I recall were very tenuious...Things might have change...
