An Update: We have confirmed that there are private discussions taking place about the property. We are following up and making it known that there is interest in acquiring the land and securing the open fields landing zone into perpetuity.

VDOT will close the fire tower road on August 21–31 for repair work. No vehicle traffic allowed. Road remains open for foot traffic to the fire tower and Woodstock launch area.
