Moving on to the next glider.
This glider is about 2 years old, I've owned it for about 1.5 years. It is in good condition. Sail repair due to a tree landing. Blue and green.

Blue Sky Sunday
took a couple tows at Blue sky. What a wonderful day to fly - though nary a bump of a thermal disturbed our downward paths. Plenty of people showed, not all flew. Steve K, Mike L , Billy V, & Nick flew and Nick had pictures of his trip to Point of the Mountain Utah; Ray, Tim, Rance showed, and G...

Oregon Ridge side trip - O.T.
For the culture vultures: side trip on the way back to DC - the newly renovated Basilica of Baltimore in downtown. A Benjamin Latrobe building - really neat, and very clean neo-classical - no frills (except the pink and blue flowers.... If you can get past the pink and blue color scheme, the domes a...

HGfest
Mark;
I am getting a lot of spam emails coming from the HGfest email link. I think that there is something un-secured in that linked arrangement.
Can you disconnect my email address from that link? Or de-activate that link please since the Pulpit fest is over? Thanks, Linda

I hadn't thought of that as a reason for the fray. I'll pay more attention to how I fold/unfold the glider. Thanks for mentioning it. (I disconnect the luff line) - Linda

Brian; I'm sorry that you'll be moving on up to the Big Apple because it means we won't have your friendly, steady, and encouraging influence (and excellent assistance) readily at hand anymore (you've spoiled bunches of us up-and-coming pilots, I know), but it sounds like a pretty nifty job, an aweso...

It's as Hugh said... Lots of pilots, a pilot named Nelson was there too, and I think he launched first. He reported back to my queries of whether it was penetrable for the falconiers - much appreciated. The HP gliders seemed to have a wonderful, relatively smooth day of it. No idea what happened to ...

High Rock Flying Sun & Miss Emma
I am unable to thank Brian, Matthew and Hugh enough for their crewing, and their commitment to making hang gliding work for the rest of us in need. A good crowd of pilots and spectators was out today, and the flying was great. My first mountain launch after my face-to-face discussion with the trees ...

New Pilot to Area requests ride to Pulpit fly-in from DC
(posted on behalf of the pilot, by Linda)
Aloha,
I am a new pilot to area and prospective new member of chpga once I get to the first meeting.
I would like to attend the festival… any people driving out from DC to ride share, etc.??
Thanks,
Jeff Eggers

From AOPA (maybe someone already posted to this effect - I'm not following too closely these days) Just say the name Steve Fossett, a longtime AOPA member, in any news story, and it probably means a new aeronautical record has been set. Fossett, 62, and former NASA test pilot Einar Enevoldson, 74, u...

Yeah, yeah, yeah, Lex. My humble apologies. But I am comforted to know that the administration of the Club isn't so boneheaded as to adopt that approach to dues collection. 1) ya' can't have gambled it away because I haven't PAID it yet (0bviously the guilt is weighing heavily on me....) 2) the only...

Didn't realize it was a selectively punitive forum...Do you suspend non-CHGPA members from reading or posting to the forum when they are late to pay the dues they don't pay anyway? Sounds like it is better to not belong to CHGPA at this rate. I seem to have forgotten to write my membership check to ...
